Time for a quick one...

Again, it's been a packed couple of days, there's so much to talk about and I've got no time! It'll be a quick one, so let's start at home...

Kyrgiakos, you wally...
Following our battering of United last weekend, I was hoping that we'd be on the up and our form would continue when we faced Sporting Braga.  I should know better.  An epic fail from our Greek defender saw us go one down before half time.  Not good.  It's not just Kyrgiakos's fault though - we were generally on the back foot for most of the match, it was most disheartening.  The only glimpse of encouragement was that things improved slightly with the appearance of big money Carroll.

It's fair to say that we're seriously lacking consistency, but hopefully that will come.  The boys will have had a nice little rest thanks to the FA Cup fixtures this weekend, so I'm sure we'll come back firing in time for the second leg on Thursday.  Fingers crossed!

And then there was the Cricket...
Cripes!  What's going on here then?!  We've somehow botched it (again) against what should've been a beatable Bangladesh and we're now in a position where the next match against the West Indies is critical.  Wonderful.  I'm generally quite worried about the England camp.  No Broad + no Pieterson = huge cause for concern.  Strange things are happening this ODI - India getting owned by South Africa is another example.  Sachin Tendulkar must be tearing his hair out!

Foxy...
It says something when the highlights of the Rugby mainly centre around a pitch invasion from an urban fox.  It amused me to think of the venue manager at Twickeham, I'd have like to have seen their face when they realised what had happened - I'm sure that that's the last thing they could have done with!  I'm thrilled that England won, but again, I'm worried (that's the common theme for this blog) that we're not actually going to be good enough in time for the World Cup.  Eeeshk.

Oh Arsene
It has to have been the unluckiest fortnight for Arsenal fans.  As you know, I'm for them winning the league this season, but following their defeat on Saturday in the FA Cup to United, I'm not sure that they can.  Let's hope they up their game for the final stretch.  They've got some interesting fixtures ahead, so it's not going to be plain sailing but any means.

Just quickly:
I got sent this link this week and I think it's pretty cool, so I'm sharing it with you.  God I wish Gareth Bale played for us!
