Bibitus! It'll put you in a good mood.

Bye bye Europe, it's been nice knowing you.
So we're out of Europe.  Not just the Champions League, but the WHOLE of Europe.  Thursday was one of the most painful days in what has been an emotional roller coaster of a season.  Carroll had two promising headers, but his European debut was ultimately forgettable.  We missed Suarez.  I missed Suarez.  Today's result against Sunderland (we won 2-0), is again evidence of the difference he makes.  I just hope that we don't end up in the all too familiar situation of being a one man team.  I'm sure we wont, since this pairing looks promising, but you can't blame me for being anxious.

Show me the money
You'd be a foolish fan to expect your newest signings to instantly score goals willy nilly - as any Chelsea fan will know ;) - but I'm ready now.  I'm really ready to see what this Carroll chap can do.  He's allegedly one of a kind, I do hope that this is the case.  At the risk of putting all my eggs in Carroll and Suarez's respective baskets, now is the time for them to step up, if we're to get 5th.

Ha!  Even I can't take that seriously.  Balls. We're screwed, no matter how good they are.

Pure comedy
Footballers aren't stupid, they've just got a case of Bibitus...

The ODI is actually making me age
Of course we couldn't win this last match easily.  Oh no.  18 runs is cutting it pret-ty fine, I'm sure you'll agree.  I expect that we'll have an equally dramatic clash against Sri Lanka - it's Murali's last international tournament, so he'll be looking to go out on a high.  I was in Sri Lanka late last year and was lucky enough to see the ground in Colombo where England will have their next match (yes, it was very cool).  Everyone I spoke to knew as much about the England team as I did, so I know that a visit from the English side, combined with Murali's exit from the game, will be great cause for them to get excited.  I too will be watching enthusiastically.

I'm thrilled that we're in the last eight.  I've not got any nails left, so let's hope that things run a little bit smoother!

Audience participation at the darts...
Usually, when you watch darts, you expect that the only people to throwing things will be those standing at the oche.  Sadly, this was not the case this week at the Premier League in Glasgow, where a bunch of numb-nut fans took it upon themselves to throw beer and coins (?) at the players.  Granted, the only thing there is to do at darts is drink and occasionally bellow, so a rowdy crowd is to be expected, but this is just not cricket I tell you.  What idiots.

I don't want to talk about the Rugby.  Hmpf.  I'm pleased and all, but a grand slam would have been nice.
